C'mon. Think. The statement given to Police states the arguement between Tiger and his wife left their front Hallway requiring considerable repairs.
Deduction: Elin went after Tiger with the golf club after learning about the texting/phone messages he left his girlfriend and a terrible physical fight ensued. While Tiger was leaving to get away from her, Elin connected with Tiger's head and face with the Club, but, he managed to get into his car where he passed out from his injuries which caused him to run over the fire hydrant and then crashing into the tree, where he probably sustained more injuries.
His wife followed him down the driveway swinging the Golf Club! She broke the back and side windows in anger while he was driving away, not to save him after the accident.
I think they both need psychological help!

If I were a celebrity, I would go to the store, drive-thru, etc. at night. (Less people to recognize me). I would always drive with my doors locked (crazy fans) and my wife would know that. If I had sugar diabetes, or epilepsy, I may not want any one to know, but my wife would know.

I also (on the advice of my attorney) would give no statement until we were sure that all traces of confusion had passed.
If I were having an affair, I would not take my (possibly) diseased, transmitting body home to my wife, so that she might get cancer and leave my children motherless. Surely, no decent human being could do this, so there must be another answer.

I think Tiger was trying to avoid things of greater circumstances by leaving his home at 2 in the morning. If they were having a dispute, that could have escalated into something greater like domestic violence especially if he was getting sractched and hit. All "official" accounts sound like "cover-up" to me.

It is more like Woodsy and his wifey got into it over his "other" interests. Things escalated. She grabbed what ever she could get her hands on in a fit of rage and it happened to be one of his golf clubs and she just started swinging it. The Tiger, stunned by a blow to the face and maybe other parts of his body, made a mad but mentally blurred dash for the safety of the Caddy. She after him and started wailing on the rear windows smashing them as he tried to drive away. Has she been faster (or he any slower or had the Caddy hesitated to start), she would have smashed the windshield and perhaps even other side windows rather than the rear windows. or even worse - delivered a fatal blow.

Unfortunately,I believe she stunned him with a blow (or two or three) before he was able to get into the vehicle. His desperate efforts to start the Caddy and get out of there were wobbly at best and in a panic or semi-conscious state ran over the hydrant, passed out and then hit a tree.

Yes, you would be suprised at the number of controlling,overbearing and abusive women out there who just put the boots to their high profile husbands every day and who hide their dirty little (well, big) secret behind money, wealth, power, palatial domiciles, exclusive neighbourhoods and celebrity. BUT because of the big money, the prestige and other trappings involved, the guys just shut up and take it and hide it, at least for as long as they can. The pressure of keeping it all in builds and eventualy shows up in other ways - like affairs.

I would think this is a fairly clear case of battered husband syndrome and it has been going on for a while. Tiger has been winning "on the Tour" but getting clobbered at home. How humiliating for him! His alleged affair is more a symptom of his problems on the home front than a cause of it.

While this is all conjecture at his point, I'd be surprised if I was far off the mark. All I can say is that no one can know for sure what really goes on behind closed doors. All I now is that Ms. Angel-wouldn't-hurt-a-fly for the camera and the public eye may be the Spouse-from-hell when she thinks nobody is looking.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this unfolds...or unravels...as the case may be.

Tiger and his good wife have the right to privacy, so this business should between him and her.

Public figures owe their fans no explanation about their personal lives, unless they commit a serious crime; then, such celebrities are answerable to the law and their families, as are we all.

We will likely never know the full truth. The PGA could push to suppress it, if Tiger, his wife, and the police ever 'fess up to what really happened. Can't have the top player in the game sully the game's reputation now, can we?! I have admired Tiger for his accomplishments and his character. I am disappointed in him no matter how this turns out.
